Between Mothers and children. Protection in intrafamily violence

“Between mothers and children. How to reconcile protection in cases of intra-family violence. What tools and alliances?”  is the conference  scheduled, in the Piovani room in via Porta di Massa, on Wednesday 27 November 2024 at 3pm, with the aim of sharing in a multifocal and interdisciplinary dimension the critical issues that women emerging from a violent relationship still experience. Above all, because it is still too difficult to trust the interinstitutional network and ask for help, in particular for women who have minor children and   they feel a strong threat of not obtaining custody of them.

During the work we will try to answer some questions such as what are the issues still present in the application of the rules, how to support the world of operators, how to health and justice in overcoming the prejudices and cultural stereotypes that make the initiatives implemented for both the prevention and combating of violence ineffective and how it is possible to build an effective alliance system.

The following will discuss it in the first session dedicated to the situation in the courts and services: Maria de Luzenberger  Public Prosecutor, Juvenile Court of Naples, Concetta Gentili Lawyer, EVA Social Cooperative and President of AIAF Campania, Marianna Giordano, President CISMAI, Maria Rosaria Covelli,  President of the Court of Appeal of Naples, Aldo Policastro, Attorney General, Court of Appeal of Naples, Elvira Reale, Consultant to the bicameral commission of inquiry into femicide ed Elisabetta Riccardi, Psychologist, Le Kassandre.

The meeting, promoted by Lella Palladino and Daniela Santarpia  of the EVA Cooperative, Marianna Giordano, CISMAI and the Una None Centomila Foundation and for the Federico II University by Francesca Marone,  falls within the activities of the Equal Opportunities Commission of the School of Human and Social Sciences, coordinated by Paola de Vivo e composed of Francesca Galgano, the same Marone, Ilenia Picardi, Annalisa Scognamiglio, Antonella Spanò, Annamaria Zampella.
