Federico II and the Memory of Women is the virtual museum of female presences who attended and taught at the Federico II University of Naples whose contribution influenced the cultural and artistic life of the city of Naples. The Federico II Women's Museum is a place of transmission and knowledge with the aim of keeping the history of women alive and contributing to the formation of a gender culture.
It presents the biographies of creative, enthusiastic, curious, courageous and persevering figures, who took part in the life of the Federician Athenaeum and who chose a model of life different from the expectations and mentality of their time.
